COMPCOMPARE

Privacy and local storage

Your saved competitions

The shortlist stores up to 100 competition IDs in your browser on this device. It is not synced to an account. We request those listings when you open your shortlist, but do not save a server-side shortlist. Clear it using the button on Saved competitions or your browser’s site-data controls. Returning to a results page may use temporary browser storage to restore your scroll position.

Aggregate usage counts

We count page views and clicks to providers to understand which comparisons people use. We store daily totals by page group, provider, broad referral source and a small set of campaign labels. These counters do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses, full referrer URLs, visitor IDs or a person’s browsing history. They do not identify unique people or confirm competition entries or purchases.

Our own measurement uses no tracking cookies, respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, and keeps daily totals for 90 days. Hosting and security providers may process technical request logs separately to deliver and protect the site. Blocking scripts may prevent measurement.

Provider and affiliate links

Providers run competitions and have their own privacy notices. Links marked Ad may use an affiliate network to attribute a referral; we may earn commission. Affiliate relationships never change our organic scores or rankings.
